libaspell-dev software package provides Development files for applications with GNU Aspell support, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libaspell-dev
libaspell-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libaspell-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaspell-dev *
You will get with libaspell-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
